And last but not least star of this weekend was our 11 month old Truman , Oakdene To Be Continued winning junior class and going Best Junior in Breed and qualifying for Crufts in Genk Championship show this Sunday !!! We would like to thank both Frances McKimm and Emilie Pierre for taking him over and handling him to perfection that day while we are flying a flag at the Clubshow in Amsterdam . Babs Best Bitch CC , Blake Best Dog CC, Best of Breed and Best in show at Irish Setter Clubshow Netherlands This is an absolute thrill and overwhelming !!! This young boy has proven he is all what he have seen in him since we saw him for the first time . We always believe in feeling some dogs give us and every some time we try our best to bring into our show life a dog who has that something extra special in him . I do think we have succeeded many times .... and do believe this is only a start for this new exciting man ... it’s even not a month since he moved to Belgium .
It’s been very exhausting weekend travelling more than 700 km first in Saturday to La Touquet in France where he won Best of Breed and Best in Group and day later trip to far Amsterdam . It’s was worth it all . Here he is ... Blakey boy , Int Ch, Ch Show Must Go On z Arislandu JCH winning super champion class , Best dog , CC, Best of Breed and finally Best in Show at the Irish Setter Clubshow in The Netherlands. We are even more than happy to see his first mom and breeder Jadwiga Konkiel saw it all happening !!!! We just say ..... Show Must Go On folks . Most of the photos by our friends Jean Duhant . Girl can move her little butt !!! Unfortunately we are not able to come back for Best In Show tomorrow , our big excuses to the organisation of this beautiful show . Their first time out !!!! With broken heart we have to share with you loosing our best friend Dooley . He passed away yesterday surrounded with us all on his favourite spot in the house at the age of 15 years and 2 months old. Something new , something old and borrowed .... RED !!!! Happy 15th birthday to our most wonderful Dooley , world known as a GBShCh, IntCh , Multiple Ch, Multiple CLW, W Jonola Dr Doolittle Jch , very influential stud dog over the Europe bred by Mel Hillocks in Norfolk . This one is for you Nuckybear !!! Until we meet again .
Our 15th Crufts anniversary as an exhibitors. We do bring every year red cards back home and unbelievably Best Of Breed in 2010 for our Mr Jingles ( RCC year later ) and Best Puppy with Swagger in 2018 First show of a year and another Best of Breed (judge Mr P Krol , Pl) followed by Group 3 for our youngster Int Ch, Ch Oakdene Que Du Bonheur JCh, BeJW, NlJW, BOB Puppy Crufts '18 , Swagger #teamSwagger ,#Oakdeneirishsetters Lovely end of a show year . Ch Nucky of McBirdy Jch ( Ch Thendara Satisfaction x Ch Idgie of McBirdy) wins Best of Breed and later on superb Best of Group under Mr Christian Jouanchicot ( Fr) . Above all it was a first outing of our marvellous baby girl Viviane , Oakdene Savoir Vivre ( Ch Oakdene Que du Bonheur x Ch Thendara Lady Holly ) winning Best Puppy of Breed and selected into final six Best Puppy in Show . Always our favourite since we saw him at European Dog show in Austria where he went Best Dog out of Junior class .
We will be forever thankful his breeder Jadwiga Konkiel for allowing us having him .

We can’t expres how devastated we are .
ShCh IntCh Ch Jonola Dr Doolittle doesn’t need any introduction, not only as a very successful show dog but also a very influential stud dog in Europe who has produced most stunning progeny , his last one at age of 12 bred by us from which we kept Swagger , Ch Oakdene Que Du Bonheur .
Dooley was bred by Mel Hillocks who was his biggest fan all over this years and we will be forever grateful her for him .
So many memories from which most wonderful in birth of our first son Jeremy and on his older age our son Jonathan.
Hope you can find a few minutes to see this wonderful tribute his best friend Jeremy did all by himself especially for him .
Rest in peace DooDoo I hope you are now reunited with your mate Mr Jingles xxxx we will never forget you.

We are more than happy to introduce Jolene , Donne Moi Oakdene z. Arislandu.
Jolene brings a bit of ‘ new’ into our lines and still combines our Mr Jingles and Dooley in her pedigree . She is a little sweetheart full of herself and we are more than pleased with her .
